“Green” tariffs in Ukraine for 2022 have been set

The National Commission for Energy Market and Communal Services (NKREKP) has determined the size of “green” tariffs for electricity from renewable sources for 2022. This was reported on the website of the commission.

The tariff of UAH 5.04 per kWh is set for SES with a capacity of up to 150 kW, put into operation by the end of 2019. Launched after January 1, 2020 – UAH 3.78 per kWh. The same tariffs are set for electricity generated by combined wind and solar power plants.

For other types of generation with installations with a capacity of less than 150 kW, the NCRECP has set the following tariffs:

For electricity from biomass and biogas – UAH 3.81 per kWh, regardless of the year of commissioning.

For wind farms, the “green” tariff will be UAH 3.58 per kWh for installations launched by 2020. For those launched on January 1, 2020 – UAH 3.22 per kWh.

The tariff for hydraulic installations will be UAH 5.37 per kWh launched by 2020. From 2020 – UAH 4.84 per kWh.

For geothermal installations – UAH 4.62 per kWh for installations put into operation by 2020, and UAH 4.16 per kWh from 2020.

For installations with a capacity of more than 150 kW owned by companies and enterprises, the National Commission for Regulation of Economic Competition sets tariffs separately for each company.

Next year, “green” tariffs for such generating systems will range from UAH 1.79 per kWh to UAH 7.55 per kWh.
